Adobe Pixelmash

So I took part in an Adobe Pixel Mash comp a couple of weeks ago. The competition took place at an education conference set up by Adobe and we were there basically to spruke their products and demonstrate what they’re capable of. We were sat in front of the sizable audience and given fifteen minutes to put together a word and an image we’d been given the day before. In our case it was the word education and this picture of a barbecue.

In the end the audience voted and amazingly I won and the prize was the Adobe  CS5 master collection. SO STOKED.

Ps. The explanation is that even though sometimes/often we hate going to class and learning, education is pretty important and good for us, hence the reason why this nerdy cow is roasting itself!

Harmony Sketches

Some quick sketches I did on Harmony which is a pretty cool html online drawing application I discovered today on Drawn!

IF Adrift

I was already working on this picture, which is about the feeling you get sometimes being in a long distance relationship. The word adrift actually really captures that.

Here I was trying out the contrasting two colour style of the amazing illustrators Tomer and Asaf Hanuka. I love their work! You can see it here:

Quick IF Drawing : Clumsy

Quick drawing of a situation I am way too familiar with. The mug is never where you think you left it and always right under your foot.

00Chausettes – One Page Comic

A one page comic I drew as part of a Christmas present for my boyfriend about his cat Chausettes. This all makes more sense if you know he’s a magician. It (should) translate as

‘There was a stranger on 10 _______ /

It was/ (up) to/ her/

Riaow!/ But it had disappeared!
